Holon couples movement with sound in an immersive, physical experience that supports and encourages movement in different ways. Optional hardware supported by Holon includes Apple Watch and Suunto Movesense smart sensors. In addition to Apple AirPods Pro, Holon also supports Bose AR equipped headphones for fully immersive musical experiences.

Holon integrates with Apple Health to use your heart rate (using optional Apple Watch S3/4/5/6, IAP available) and step rate to change the tempo of the music. Other musical content is generated in real time from your activity, course, weather, time of day, distance traveled, and many other signals.

Holon is based on principles of affective design and biomusicology and puts the user in the centre of an open world of synthesised sound.

Holon features a bonus demo mode of our editor, Holon.ist. It automatically sends pre-configured OSC control data over the network, as well as Ableton Link clock derived from activity/speed/heart rate (if available). Try it with VCV Rack, miRack or our plugins for Ableton Live and Reaktor!
